Chapter 01 — The Tutor
Hello, I'm Poonam — friends call me Pony. For more than a decade I've been teaching drawing and painting from a small, sunlit studio, working one technique at a time with each student.
My approach is gentle and structured. We begin with the fundamentals — how the pencil meets the paper, how the brush carries colour — and slowly build the confidence to make work that feels honestly yours.
Whether you are eight or sixty-eight, picking up a pencil for the first time or returning after years away, there is a quiet seat at the table for you here.

Chapter 02 — The Curriculum
8 weeks · 16 sessions
From the first confident line to graphite portraiture. Learn observation, proportion, value and texture through a guided sequence of botanical, still-life and figure studies.
6 weeks · 12 sessions
Translate brushwork onto cotton, silk and linen. Master fabric mediums, one-stroke florals and resist techniques to create heirloom scarves, totes and home pieces.
Single Sundays · 3 hrs
Slow afternoon sessions designed for the busy adult. Watercolour landscapes, ink florals or pastel skies — finish a framed piece in one quiet, generous sitting.
Term-based · 12 weeks
A real curriculum that respects young artists. Children learn the same foundations as adults — at their own pace — and leave each term with a small, framed body of work.
